What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the items you choose and any personalisation wording.
- When you contact us: your name, contact details and your message.
- If you join our email list: your email address, only if you tick the box to agree.
- When you browse: anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, country, type of device). These do not identify you and use no cookies.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are taken on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
Why we use it
- To make and deliver your order, send order and dispatch emails, and handle returns (needed to carry out our contract with you).
- To answer your messages (our legitimate interest in helping customers).
- To keep business and tax records (a legal obligation).
- To send our newsletter, only if you agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it (our legitimate interest), using cookie-free statistics.
Who we share it with
Only what is needed, with companies that help us run the shop:
- Stripe: takes your payment and keeps the order record.
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and provides the cookie-free visit statistics.
- Our email service: sends order and dispatch emails.
- Our newsletter service: if you joined the email list.
- Royal Mail: your name and address, to deliver your parcel.
Some of these companies may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data protection law.
We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires (normally up to 6 years). Messages are kept while we need them to help you. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, to stop using it, or to object to how we use it. If you gave consent (for the newsletter), you can withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
